Lauren H. Felipe, O.D.
Dr. Felipe was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA. She attended California State University Long Beach where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology: Physiology with a minor degree in Chemistry. After graduating, she spent time gaining experience in the optometric field, working in various private practices in Los Angeles. With her desire to study abroad one day, she took a big move to Puerto Rico, this time to study at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry.
After graduating with her doctorate in optometry, Dr. Felipe moved back to Los Angeles to practice. She has experience providing quality care to patients of all backgrounds and ages, having worked in the Veterans’ Affairs system as well as local school vision screenings. She has spent 7 years at the Culver City Eye Institute co-managing complex ocular diseases including glaucoma and cataract surgery with ophthalmologists. Dr. Felipe is fluent in Spanish. She believes that the best outcomes are reached when patients understand their diagnosis and participate in their treatment. As such, she provides specialized and optimal care to each one of her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Felipe loves to explore new restaurants in Los Angeles, travel, ski, watch movies, and cheer for the Dodgers! Pleasant and personable to her patients, Dr. Felipe is here for all of your eye care needs...so you can see ALL CLEAR.
